The 2025 Edmund Lukevics Award, established by the Development Fund of LIOS, has been awarded to Dr Vaisgerberga for her research on The Development and Application of Fluoromethylene Transfer Reagents.

On 9 May, the members of the Scientific Council held an open vote to approve changes to the composition of the LIOS Foundation Board.

As of 14 October 2026, the OSI Foundation is operating under a new name – the NIRI Foundation. The name change is a logical continuation of the Foundation’s activities, which began in December 2022.
